In semester Spring 2024, Elon Lang\u00a0worked\u00a0with an undergraduate Bridging Disciplines Museum Studies student\u2014Miranda Hynes–to\u00a0begin\u00a0building\u00a0an online home for the Center for Teaching and Learning’s 50th-Anniversary exhibit and archive. Last semester\u00a0Lang\u00a0worked with a team of\u00a0three other BDP\u00a0students to scan the majority of the Center’s collection of artifacts from its own history and to research and assemble a set of physical exhibits\u00a0to be displayed in the PCL.\u00a0Miranda received guidance and support from MiriYam Judd via the Initiative for Digital Humanities in order to set up an\u00a0Omeka site to house the project on behalf of the CTL\u00a0and\u00a0to\u00a0begin to organize it by completing and then importing a database her predecessors used when designing the\u00a0physical exhibits.\u00a0While the work on the Omeka site is not yet completed,\u00a0we\u00a0will be laying the groundwork for a\u00a0maintenance and preservation plan\u00a0so that the CTL can\u00a0keep adding to the site and the physical archive it represents long into the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
